Sat 19th Oct: Haydn and Beethoven with the St Clement's Players (recital)

This Saturday is the first of two concerts this series by the St Clement's Players. They will be performing an orchestral programme of Haydn and Beethoven, under the direction of Karol Jaworski. Haydn's Symphony No. 101 is the famous "Clock" symphony, full of charm, humour, and with that iconic and 'mechanical' second movement from which the symphony gets its name. Beethoven's Fourth Symphony is the composer through a kaleidoscope of emotion, full of passion, romance, drama and wit.

The recital begins at 1.00pm, and as ever entry to the recitals is free, with a retiring collection taken to support our performers, as well as to contribute to the ongoing Organ Redevelopment Fund. We hope to see you there!
