We're excited to be kicking off this term's recital series with a showcase of brass chamber music. This will be performed by the Cambridge University Brass Ensemble, alongside the recently-formed Pro Bono trombone quartet. The University's Brass Ensemble is a small chamber group that works alongside the university's Instrumental Award Scheme, coaching and developing talented young players who are studying at Cambridge. They will be performing music written specifically for brass ensembles, as well as arrangements of music by composers from renaissance to 20th Century times.
The recital begins at 1.00pm, and as ever entry to the recitals is free, with a retiring collection taken to support our performers, as well as to contribute to the ongoing Organ Redevelopment Fund. We hope to see you there!
