This Saturday we're excited to introduce Marcus Pyle to our recital series at St Clement's. A graduate of both the Royal Academy of Music in London, and the Julliard School of Music, winning multiple prizes and gaining the opportunity to perform at leading venues across the UK and US. As well as an accomplished performer, Marcus is heavily involved with music education, and bridges these two roles as a founder and CEO of the Chamberworks Summer Institute, a summer school dedicated to string music education for children across the US.
Marcus will be bringing an exciting programme of 20th and 21st century composers to St Clement's on Saturday lunchtime, with works by Vierne, Kramer, Bridge and Beach. The recital begins at 1pm, and as ever, entry to the recital is free, with a retiring collection taken to support the recital series and contribute to the ongoing Organ Redevelopment Fund at St Clement's. We hope to see you there!
