Join us this Saturday lunchtime as the St Clement's Players return to our recital series. With a slight change to previous announcements, they will be playing with soloists Laura Rickard (violin) and Clíona Ní Choileáin ('cello), performing a thrilling programme of Mozart and Haydn under the baton of Karol Jaworski.
The performance will begin at 1pm, and as ever, entry to the recital is free, with a retiring collection taken to support our performers and also to continue fundraising for our Organ Redevelopment Fund. More details of the programme can be found on our Facebook page, and we hope to see you there!

Taizé Service: Friday 15th June
Join us this Friday evening for a Taizé Service, with prayers and reflections on the Holy Spirit. Led by Ed Cearns, this simple, medative service contrasts meditative prayers and chanting, with readings and periods of silence - a perfect end to a busy day and long week.
Our service begins at 8.30pm, and we invite everyone to join us. We hope to see you there!

Sat 16th June: "A Russian Banquet" (recital)
We head across to Russia for this Saturday's recital, as mezzo-soprano Jessica Lawrence-Hares presents a showcase of song by famed Russian composers, including Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov and Rachmaninoff. Accompanied by Olga Elbourn on piano, this is a feast of exquisite music not to be missed!
As always, our recital begins at 1pm, with free entry for all. A retiring collection will be taken in support of the recital series, and also continuing to raise funds for our Organ Redevelopment Fund.

Sat 9th June: Baroque recorder trios (recital)
Join us this Saturday lunchtime as our Saturday Lunchtime Recital series continues. This week we're delighted to welcome a trio of players: Ellen Jameson, Francis Knights and Patrick Welche, who will be performing a selection of Recorder Trios by Baroque composers such as Telemann, Quantz, Mattheson and Fux.

Sat 2nd June: The Evolution of Tuba (recital)
We're pleased to be starting our next series of Lunchtime Recitals at St Clement's this Saturday, 2nd June! Michael Dawson will be joining us this week, with his eye-opening programme of The Evolution of Tuba. Michael will be showcasing some incredible works for this instrument, from across all periods of classical music, whilst also telling us more about how the Tuba has grown over the years to become the versatile instrument it is now!

Fri 18th May; Taizé service in anticipation of Pentecost
Join us this Friday evening as we celebrate a Taizé Eucharist in anticipation of Pentecost. With the longer summer days, we start at the slightly later time of 8.30pm, with chants, prayers, readings and silence. All are welcome, and we hope to see you there.

Choral Compline: Tu 15th May, 9.30pm
Join us this Tuesday evening at St Clement's as the choir leads a choral service of Compline. This short, contemplative service mixes ancient plainsong chants with simple prayers and silence as a peaceful close to the day. The congregation is invited to join the choir in the chancel throughout, and all are welcome to attend.
