Sat 30th Nov: Bach, Schubert and Haydn piano works (recital)

This Saturday, our Autumn 2019 series concludes with a piano recital by the inimitable John Bryden. He'll be performing works by Bach, Schubert and Haydn, including Schubert's delightful Six Moments Musicaux.

The recital begins at 1.00pm, and as ever entry to the recitals is free, with a retiring collection taken to support our performers, as well as to contribute to the ongoing Organ Redevelopment Fund. We hope to see you there!

Sat 16th Nov: Weber and Beethoven with The Mitchison Ensemble (recital)

We're delighted to welcome back The Mitchison Ensemble this Saturday, returning with another fabulous programme of chamber music for strings and winds. They will be performing Weber's Clarinet Concerto in B-flat Major, followed by Beethoven's graceful string quartet in E-flat Major, "The Harp".

Taizé Eucharist: Faith and the Spirit, Fri 15th Nov, 7.30pm

Join us this Friday evening as we celebrate a Taizé Eucharist on themes of Faith and the Holy Spirit. The service begins at 7.30pm, with chants, prayers, readings and silence. All are welcome, we hope to see you there!

Sat 9th Nov: Mozart Requiem (recital)

We're excited to welcome back the St Clement's Players this Saturday, this time performing alongside St Clement's Choir and friends, in a performance of Mozart's iconic Requiem in D minor. Directed by Karol Jaworski, soloists will include the familiar voices of Catherine White and Nicholas Butler, joined by newcomers Kate Lowe and Jonny Tsang.

Sat 2nd Nov: Schumann, Poulenc and Hindemith with Lance Mok (recital)

After several seasons away, this term we're delighted to welcome back pianist and composer Lance Mok to our recital series at St Clement's. Lance will be presenting a programme of romantic piano works by Schumann, Poulenc and Hindemith, including the reflective and emotive Nachtstücke by Schumann, and Poulenc's Nocturnes.
